What can I expect from the new website?
The new website will be faster and easier to use, so you can enjoy exploring our beautiful prize homes and buy tickets with ease in your favourite RSL Art Union lotteries. You can read more about it here.
How can I pay for my tickets?
We accept all major credit cards, direct debit from your nominated (Australian) bank account, cheque or money order or Bpay from your Australian bank account. We are not able to accept international cheques.
Cash payments are only accepted at the Prize Home or our nominated agents. Cash and cheque are accepted forms of payments, however both of these methods have a longer processing time and are at the sender’s risk. Electronic methods of payment are recommended due higher security and immediate receipt of payment.
How do I receive my tickets?
Tickets ordered online will be emailed to you. All other tickets will be mailed to the address provided when you purchased. If you would prefer to receive your tickets by email only, please advise us by phoning us on the number listed above or send us an email to email@example.com.
I am not able to view my emailed tickets?
Many popular email providers such as Gmail, Yahoo etc automatically block images in emails. If this is happening to you click the prompt at/near the top of the opened email which reads similar to: "Images are not displayed." There will be two options - "Display images below" or "Always display images from RSL Art Union [firstname.lastname@example.org]." Select either of these options to view the ticket image in the email.
Alternatively, click "view this email in your browser" at the top of the email to open the email in your browser.
I can't log in to my account?
If you are having difficulty logging into the site, try closing your browser and opening it again then going back to the sign-in page. If you are still having difficulty, please check if the www.rslartunion.com.au website has been blocked from sending cookies in your Internet browser settings. This site works in Internet Explorer 8+ and all current versions of Firefox, Chrome and Safari.

What happens if a draw sells out?
If you are not a VIP member your tickets are not guaranteed and the draws may sell out early. We recommend purchasing tickets early to avoid missing out. If you would like to keep up to date with open dates for draws, please visit the draw page on our website or like our Facebook page
I live overseas, can I still enter?
Unfortunately customers residing in the USA (United States of America) or the EU (European Union) are NOT eligible for entry into the RSL Art Union. This includes the purchase of gift tickets. Supporters from other overseas countries can enter the Art Union (however, you should check your own country's regulations). Please also note, all prize and ticket values are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD). The RSL Art Union can only accept payment for tickets in this currency. Ticket payment will be accepted from credit card, direct debit or Bpay from only an Australian bank account. The ability to purchase Art Union tickets online whilst overseas will depend on the banking institution. Please check with your bank for international payment processing information.
Can I select how RSL communicate with me?
Yes you can. You can choose to be contacted by mail, email or phone. Contact our call centre or send us an email with your preference. If you reply N to an SMS message, we will unsubscribe you from receiving future SMS messages.
I sent you an email, generally how quickly will you respond?
As one of the most popular lottery web sites in Australia we receive many email enquiries. We aim to address your email as soon as possible. If your matter is urgent please contact customer service on (AUS) 1300 775 888, (NZ) 0800 450 970 or (INT) +61 7 3188 0436.
I am not receiving any brochures?
Your membership may have lapsed and therefore you may not be receiving any brochures from us, or you may have moved and have not told us. Please contact our customer service team or send us an email with your enquiry: email@example.com.
Why do you need my telephone number?
Your phone number is used solely by our customer service team and to contact you if you win first prize. Your number is not sold or stored for any other purpose. Please let us know if you do not wish to receive calls from the RSL.
I have received a missed call from 07 3188 0435 or 61 7 3188 0436. Is this the RSL?
It certainly is. Our usual call center number 1300 775 888 does not display when you have a missed call but 07 3188 0435 or 07 3188 0436 may appear. If you are in Australia, you may return the call by dialing 1300 775 888. Customers in New Zealand can call 0800 450 970 and international customers can call +61 7 3188 0436. Alternatively we will call you again at a later date.
I ordered my tickets through the mail. Why would RSL be calling me?
If we have a query regarding your order, RSL will contact you to clarify your details and your ticket requirements.
I bought tickets through the velocity eStore and haven't received my velocity points yet?
For all ticket purchases made via Virgin Australia's velocity eStore, please allow up to six weeks for your velocity points to be credited to your velocity account. If you are experiencing further issues, please contact the velocity eStore direct.
I'd like to be notified when your next Art Union starts. Can I be kept up to date via email?
Yes, simply ring our call centre and tell us your email address. We'll make sure that you are included in communication that notifies you of when the next Art Union starts.
How do I sign up as a VIP?

How do I pay for my VIP tickets?
There are a number of ways you can do this:
You can pay using your credit card and your payment will be deducted on the opening day of each draw.
We can set up a direct debit from your nominated bank account, contact our customer service team.
If you would like to pay by cash or cheque please contact our customer service team.

I am a VIP member, what time of the month should I expect to be billed?
There are 12 Art Union draws each year. As a VIP member, you will be charged on the open day of each draw. To check the dates, view our calendar.
If I become a VIP Member can I stop or alter my automatic tickets?
Of course, you're totally in control. As a VIP customer you decide when you would like to cease future ticket purchases. Just give our friendly team a call to alter your VIP Membership.
What are the VIP-only Hero-Draws?
There are two VIP-only Hero-Draws conducted each year with $1.5 million in gold bullion to win each time. Only VIP members are entered into this draw, offering great odds to win!
Can I purchase additional tickets for the VIP-only draws?
Additional tickets are not available in the two VIP Heroes draws, this is to keep them exclusive for our VIP members. If you would like to increase your chances in the VIP-only draw you need to increase your VIP enrollment value in the draw prior to the VIP-only draw opening. Please note, this will also increase your overall VIP enrollment value for future draws.
What is the Loyal Supporter draw?
We reward our Loyal Supporters with $180,000 worth of exclusive bonus draws each year - the more often you play the more chances you have to win a prize. By purchasing regularly you will be automatically entered in to our exclusive Loyal Supporter Draw for the chance to win amazing prizes such as holidays, shopping sprees, cars and more!

How do I find out if I am a winner?
After each draw, the winners are notified by Registered Mail and we will attempt to contact the first prize winner by phone. A full list of winners is available on the website. You can also see public notices in 'The Courier Mail' and 'The Australian' two days after the draw. Click here to view the latest winners.
Where is the draw held?
A public draw is held for each Art Union. The draw is held at the RSL Art Union office, 283 St Pauls Terrace, Fortitude Valley, Queensland 4006 or as specified on Art Union tickets.
Do I have to pay tax on the first prize if I win?
You can sell completely tax free at the prize value. If you sell at a higher rate than its value then capital gains on the difference may apply. We advise all our winners to engage professional financial advice to fully understand any tax implications.
What happens if I win gold bullion?
You have the option of taking possession of the gold bullion, or you can sell the gold bullion to claim its value in cash. Please note that gold selling costs and market variations do apply when selling the gold bullion.
What is the book buyers prize?
The book buyer prize is a bonus prize for those who purchase multiple tickets over the value of $5 (for all draws excluding Golden Treasure). The prize ranges between $30,000 and $135,000 in gold bullion. The bonus prize is awarded to the first prize winner and is determined by the value of their ticket purchase.
For our once a year Golden Treasure book buyer's prize, ticket purchases from $30 will receive gold bullion between $50,000 and $180,000.The bonus prize is awarded to the first prize winner only and is determined by the value of the ticket purchase.
I've purchased a ticket book of $20, how do I receive my bonus tickets?
Your bonus tickets will automatically be included on your Art Union ticket.
When will the details of each draw be released to the public?
Full details of the draw will be avaialable on our website on the open day of the Art Union. We will email you on the open day of the draw, giving you all of the draw details the chance to order tickets. If you would like to keep up with the latest information on our draws you can do so though our RSL Art Union Facebook page or via email.
Will my winning ticket be redrawn if you cannot contact me?
Your winning ticket will not be redrawn, we will continue to attempt to make contact with the details provided. RSL Art Union is in compliance with gaming license requirements, and redraws will only occur when the time period to claim has lapsed.
What are the opening times of your Prize Homes?
Our prize homes are open from 9am until 5pm 7 days per week. We close for selected QLD and national public holidays. If you'd like to check, please contact our customer service team on the phone numbers above.
Are all of your houses new?
The majority of our prize homes are built brand new, some are existing homes, expertly renovated. In both instances the RSL works closely with our accredited partners in the building industry to ensure the highest quality of standards are maintained.

What is my contribution to RSL Art Union going toward?
Today, funds raised through RSL Art Union help deliver:
RSL Art Union funds national initiatives
- Assistance for 3200 veterans every year with Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) claims, including medical expenses, pensions and income claims.
- Hospital and home visits for 8300 people in the veteran community each year.
- More than 80 low-cost, safe housing options.
- Counselling and support for veterans and their families.
- A scholarship program for dependents and spouses of veterans seeking further education.
- More than 100 school-based programs to preserve the memory of those who have served.
- Assistance for more than 200 veterans in Tribunal cases and appeals.
- Emergency financial assistance.
- Bereavement assistance for defence families who have lost loved ones.
- Funeral services for veterans who pass away and have no known family.
Nationally, funds raised through RSL Art Union also provide:
- World-first research into post-traumatic stress disorder amongst veterans. The $7 million RSL Qld PTSD Initiative has made ground-breaking discoveries about the causes, symptoms and treatments of PTSD since 2012.
- A training program for General Practitioners to help them better identify PTSD and other mental health issues amongst veterans and their families and to provide improved treatment options.
- Counselling, camaraderie and rehabilitation programs through RSL Qld’s contemporary veteran branch Mates4Mates. These programs include equine therapy, Kokoda Track walks, cycling events and more.
- Trojan’s Trek peer support wilderness intervention program which assist veterans rebuild self-esteem and make positive change.
- Opportunities to join the RAEMUS Rover off-road racing team through learning a mechanical trade, logistics or navigation.
- Respite care at Diggers Rest – A Soldier’s Retreat which provides a place for former and current serving Defence personnel and their families to reset and reconnect.
RSL services provide for the sick, helpless, wounded, aged, vulnerable, destitute and needy among those who are serving or who have served in the Australian Defence Forces and their families.

Increase awareness by sharing your story
RSL encourage community involvement and the sharing of stories told by our current and past serving service men and women. This opens public discussion on topics such as Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and mental health, and promotes the rehabilitation and support services that are available for our veterans and their families.
