The Ultimate Beach House Choice - Anna Spiro

“Jemima” by Tim Salisbury

This oak-framed image is a central focus point in the upstairs retreat, showcasing a piece by Brisbane photographer Tim Salisbury. Tim is now based in New York, and his work has been selected by Anna in support of emerging Australian artists.

Anna used ‘Jemima’ as the starting point for her favourite room in the house, building around the feature piece with seafoam and blues to reflect the calming colours of the ocean. By using repetition of the patterns in the cushions and wallpaper, Anna has created a look that is not over-done or too busy, and that whole family will enjoy.
