Serving up million-dollar news that’s as cheap as chips!

The anticipation was high at ANZAC House after failed attempts to get hold of the winner of the VIP08 Heroes Draw. We were finally able to share the life-changing news over the weekend with Courtney Howard* from Cannonvale, QLD!

After enjoying a dinner of fish and chips at home with her husband, Courtney decided to return the missed calls she had received on Friday. It was certainly a call she is glad to have made, after finding out that her life was about to change with a win of $1.75 million in gold!

The news didn’t stop there. As a $20 VIP member, Courtney also received $40,000 in gold as a book bonus prize to spend as she wishes!

Never winning anything in her life, Courtney is still in disbelief of this incredible win and unsure of what to do with her winnings. We are sure as the news sinks in Courtney will come up with some great ways of making the prize stretch to best suit them.

We wish Mr and Mrs Howard all the best for the future and would like to say a big thank you to all of our VIP supporters, your continued support enables the RSL to provide much needed assistance to Australia’s veterans and their families.
