RSL Art Union VIP Hero Draw No. 19 (VIP19) - Terms and Conditions

1. General

1.1. These Terms and Conditions are VIP Hero Draw Terms and Conditions and form part of the Terms and Conditions of the RSL Art Union. The General Terms and Conditions are available at www.rslartunion.com.au/termsandconditions.

1.2. Any terms used in the VIP Hero Draw Terms and Conditions which have been defined in the General Terms and Conditions will have the same meaning in the Prize Home Draw Terms and Conditions.

1.3. In the event of any inconsistency between the VIP Hero Draw Terms and Conditions and any other part of the Terms and Conditions, the following will prevail in descending order of precedence:

a) The $5K Pay Day Draw Terms and Conditions;

b) Quarterly Cash Draw Terms and Conditions;

c) Any other Terms and Conditions for a Draw in which only VIP members are eligible for entry;

d) VIP Club Terms and Conditions;

e) Prize Home Draw Terms and Conditions;

f) General Terms and Conditions.

2. Draw Details

2.1. 2.1. VIP Hero Draw No. 19 ‘Draw VIP19’ is conducted by Returned and Services League of Australia (Queensland Branch) ABN 79 902 601 713 under the following permits: ACT Permit No. R24/00021.1, NSW Authority No. GOCAU/2332, NT Permit No. FNL1009, QLD Licence No. 29819, SA Permit No. M14545, VIC Permit No. 10046/24.

2.2. Draw VIP19 will be open from 12:01am (AEST) on Wednesday, 17 April 2024 and will close at 8:00pm (AEST) on Wednesday, 29 May 2024 unless we sell the maximum saleable quantity of tickets before this date. In the case where we sell the maximum saleable quantity of tickets before the closing date of the Draw, the Draw will close on the date when we sell the last of the maximum saleable quantity of tickets.

2.3. We are permitted to sell up to 3,254,900 tickets in Draw VIP19, which may include a maximum of 819,128 Bonus tickets, subject to State/ Territory lottery licensing approval.

2.4. Draw VIP19 will be drawn on Wednesday, 5 June 2024 at ANZAC House, 283 St Pauls Terrace, Fortitude Valley QLD 4006 at 10:00am (AEST) by way of approved random number generator.

2.5. Winners will be notified directly, and results will be published at www.rslartunion.com.au/winners on Wednesday, 5 June 2024.

2.6. Further to clause 7.1 of the General Terms and Conditions, if you wish to purchase tickets in this Draw by money order, money orders are to be made payable to RSL Art Union Draw 417. All correspondence is to be directed to Locked Bag 4032, Fortitude Valley QLD 4006.

3. Entry and Eligibility

3.1. To be entered into Draw VIP19, an entrant must:

a) Be an active VIP member as at 12:01am (AEST) on draw open date (17/04/2024); and

b) have a valid entry in Draw VIP19;

3.2. Additional tickets/ entries are not available for Draw VIP19.

4. Prizes

4.1. Draw VIP19 consists of 100 individual prizes that total to a combined prize value of $2,500,000. Prizes are drawn in order of value.

1st Prize:

1 winner will be awarded $1,510,000 Gold Bullion.

2nd – 100th Prize:

99 winners will be awarded $10,000 Gold Bullion each.

4.2. Additional terms relating to the Prize

a) Where the prize includes Gold Bullion, the gold is valued at the purchase price on the date of purchase;

b) Selling costs and market variations apply when selling Gold Bullion. All selling costs and market variations are the responsibility of the winner.

5. Unclaimed Prizes

5.1. Unclaimed prizes will be dealt in accordance with the combined legislative requirements for the conduct of the Draw. In the event that a prize remains unclaimed for one year following the date of Draw VIP19 a re-draw will be conducted on Thursday, 5 June 2025, at ANZAC House, 283 St Pauls Terrace, Fortitude Valley QLD 4006 at 10:30am (AEST) by way of approved random number generator.
