Run to Christmas Draw 01 - Terms and Conditions

1. General

1.1 These Terms and Conditions are Run to Christmas Draw 01 Terms and Conditions and form part of the Terms and Conditions of the RSL Art Union. The General Terms and Conditions are available at www.rslartunion.com.au/termsandconditions.

1.2 Any terms used in the Run to Christmas Draw 01 Terms and Conditions which have been defined in the General Terms and Conditions or the VIP Club Terms and Conditions will have the same meaning in the Run to Christmas Draw 01 Terms and Conditions.

1.3 In the event of any inconsistency between the Run to Christmas Draw 01 Terms and Conditions and any other part of the Terms and Conditions, the following will prevail in descending order of precedence:

(a) Run to Christmas Draw 01 Terms and Conditions;

(b) $5K Pay Day Draw Terms and Conditions;

(c) Quarterly Cash Draw Terms and Conditions;

(d) Any other Terms and Conditions for a Draw in which only VIP members are eligible for entry;

(e) VIP Club Terms and Conditions;

(f) Prize Home Draw Terms and Conditions;

(g) General Terms and Conditions.

2. Run to Christmas Draw 01 Details

2.1 The Run to Christmas Draw 01 (‘RCD01’) is conducted by Returned & Services League of Australia (Queensland Branch) ABN 79 902 601 713 under ACT Permit No. TP23/01884, NSW Authority No. NTP/07757, SA Permit No. M14430.

2.2 Run to Christmas Draw 01 will open from 12:01am (AEST) Wednesday, 18 October 2023 and close at 11:59pm (AEST) on Wednesday, 29 November 2023.

2.3 We reserve the right to change the open and close dates of the Run to Christmas Draw 01 at any time without notice, subject to State/ Territory lottery licensing approval.

2.4 Run to Christmas Draw 01 will be drawn on Friday, 1 December 2023 at ANZAC House, 283 St Pauls Terrace, Fortitude Valley QLD 4006 at 10:00am (AEST) by way of approved random number generator.

2.5 Winners will be notified by mail, and results will be published daily from Friday, 1 December 2023 to Thursday, 21 December 2023 at www.rslartunion.com.au/Winners.

3. Entry

3.1 Active VIP members who have valid subscription tickets and/or additional tickets in the current Prize Home Draw AU411L as at Draw close date listed in clause 2.2 will be automatically entered into Run to Christmas Draw 01.

3.2 Each VIP member who meets the eligibility criteria in clause 3.1 will receive entries in Run to Christmas Draw 01 equal to their nominated subscription entries/ tickets or any additional tickets (including bonus tickets) for the current Prize Home Draw AU411L.

3.3 If you have nominated yourself and another person as VIP members on one RSL Art Union account, you and the other person together will be taken to be a single VIP member for the purpose of Run to Christmas Draw 01.

3.4 Your entry into Run to Christmas Draw 01 is by your unique sales reference number located on your ticket in the current Prize Home Draw, AU411L which is used to validate the drawn winning entry. You will not be sent a separate Run to Christmas Draw 01 ticket.

3.5 We reserve the right to change Run to Christmas Draw 01 at any time without notice, subject to State/ Territory lottery licensing approval.

4. Prize

4.1 Run to Christmas Draw 01 consists of 21 individual prizes that total to a combined prize value of $58,117. Prizes are drawn in order of value.

4.2 Any cash prize exceeding $2,000 will be paid to the winner by crossed cheque made out to the winner (which may be in two names if you have nominated yourself and another person to be VIP members) or by EFT into a bank account nominated by the winner.

4.3 You may elect for the whole prize to be paid by the method in clause 4.2 by notifying us.

5. Additional terms relating to retailer vouchers

5.1 For the purposes of these Draw Terms and Conditions a “retailer voucher” means any gift voucher that is or forms part of a prize.

5.2 Gift voucher prizes are distributed by our nominated prize distributor:

5.3 By entering the Draw, you authorise us to provide your contact details to the relevant prize distributor and authorise the prize distributor to contact you if you are the winner of a gift voucher prize, to arrange for delivery of the prize. You are responsible for ensuring correct contact details are provided at the time of entry into the Draw. Personal information collected in relation to your gift voucher will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

5.4 Gift vouchers are issued by Australian retailers and unless otherwise stated on the issuers gift voucher, gift vouchers are only redeemable at participating Australian stores or online.

5.5 Further to clause 5.4 of these Draw Terms and Conditions and 11.1 of the General Terms and Conditions, if you are a winner of a gift voucher prize and reside outside of Australia, we reserve the right to substitute the prize for another prize of equal or greater value, subject to any approvals required from regulatory authorities.

5.6 If you are the winner of a gift voucher, we will pay for the costs to distribute the prize to a winner (limited to activation and postage).

5.7 Further to clause 15.7 of the General Terms and Conditions, all other gift vouchers listed in clause 3.1 of these Draw Terms and Conditions are subject to the issuers terms and conditions.

6. Unclaimed Prizes

6.1 Unclaimed prizes will be dealt in accordance with the combined legislative requirements for the conduct of Run to Christmas Draw 01. In the event that a prize remains unclaimed for one year following the draw, a redraw will be conducted at 10:30am (AEST) on Monday, 2 December 2024, at ANZAC House, 283 St Pauls Terrace, Fortitude Valley 4006 at by way of approved random number generator.
